Ms Aoki is a doctoral candidate in Maharishi Vedic Science. She studied flute in Japan, at the Interlochen Arts Academy, and the Eastman School of Music. Both Ms. Aoki and Mr. Pearson study Maharishi Gandharva Ved flute with M.U.M. faculty Binay Krishna Baral.

Sustainable Living Center

Inaugural Ceremony of M.U.M.'s new Sustainable Living Center.

The Center is the first to combine four green building philosophies: Living Building Challenge, LEED Platinum certification, Building Biology,and Maharishi Vedic Architecture. The building's 58 solar panels and 100-foot wind turbine are capable of producing 25 kilowatts, Speakers at the event include Dr. Craig Pearson, Fairfield Mayor Ed Malloy, and University president Dr. Bevan Morris.

Vaidya Vyas

Dr. Vyas, an esteemed Ayurvedic Vaidya(physician) from India, gives a fascinating exposition on "AGNI", the Ayurvedic principle of 'Digestive Fire', and its importance in maintaining proper functioning of the physiology.

Vaidya Vyas has been in residence at Maharishi European Resarch University, Holland for the past four years.
